Pathfinder Boats: a boat-show story built to move before the dock does.
A boat show is polished fiberglass, crowded docks, salt air, and a thousand competing claims. The film had to make Pathfinder legible inside that noise.

The production
Treat the event as lived evidence, not a showroom montage.
Mac created, produced, filmed, and edited the Pathfinder at FLIBS work. The production was designed to preserve the physical experience of the show while giving the brand a clear point of view inside an environment built to overwhelm attention.
Pathfinder submitted the completed work for industry recognition. The Marine Marketers of America subsequently named Pathfinder at FLIBS the 2025 Neptune Award winner for Boat Show Marketing.
Operating method
The story is not found by accident.
Find the point of view
Define what the audience should understand about Pathfinder before deciding which moments deserve the frame.
Capture the environment
Use the density, movement, water, material detail, and human behavior of the show as evidence rather than background decoration.
Engineer the cut
Shape image, pacing, sound, and sequence into a film that carries the brand beyond the event itself.
Recognition and evidence
The work was made by Mac. Pathfinder submitted it. The industry recognized it.
Clear credit is more useful than inflated credit. Pathfinder Boats is the named Neptune Award recipient; Mac Hoover led the creation and full production of the submitted film.
